Beta service terms
By using Ma’atara Provenance, you agree to these terms. The service is in public beta, so use it as one source of evidence—not as your only archive, identity recovery method or legal safeguard.
What the service establishes
A successful verification shows that a named public key signed a particular capsule and that the checked record has not changed. It does not by itself prove a person’s legal identity, copyright ownership, originality, truthfulness, regulatory compliance or permission to use the underlying work. Courts, platforms and other third parties decide what weight to give the evidence.
Your responsibilities
Only register material and publish terms you are entitled to represent. Keep recovery material offline and secure, compare pairing fingerprints, pair only trusted devices and revoke a lost or compromised device promptly. You are responsible for exports and backups needed for your own record-keeping obligations.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to impersonate another person, make knowingly false provenance claims, probe or disrupt systems without authorization, evade rate limits, distribute unlawful material or interfere with another user’s identity or records. We may restrict access needed to protect users, infrastructure or the integrity of the service.
Beta availability and cryptography
Features, limits and integrations may change during the beta, and interruptions or defects may occur. Use of standardized cryptographic algorithms is not product certification and does not make every device, network or implementation secure. A compromised endpoint can still create a false claim or expose material before it is protected.
Plans and cancellation
Prices, currency, billing period and included limits are shown before checkout. Paid features remain subject to fair use where stated. Manage subscriptions through the account surface used at checkout or contact support if it is unavailable. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded.
Privacy and contact
The privacy notice describes data processing. Questions, safety reports and disputes can be sent to trust@parable.social. We may update these terms as the beta changes. The date at the top identifies the current version, and material changes will be presented through the service before they take effect.
